Guangzhou R&F Hospital Center of Excellence operates with an accomplished team of surgeons and nurses leading general, orthopedic, urologic thoracic, ophthalmology, dental, plastic, and ENT surgeries. Various clinical programs have been developed to provide diagnosis and treatment for conventional and complex surgical cases, offering laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical options. The Center also plans to collaborate closely with international medical centers to bring in the most up-to-date healthcare service philosophy and service standards.

Dr. Peng graduated from Xiangya School of Medicine of Central South University with Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degrees. He provided services at the Second and Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University as Chair of General Surgery and Chair of Hepatobiliary Surgery. As a visiting scholar, he also studied at the Stanford Health Care, the Mount Sinai Hospital, the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, and Center of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at MHH Affiliated Maria Hospital. He currently serves as members of the Association of Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery (AHPBS), Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons (SLS), life member of the Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia (ELSA), standing committee member of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association, member of the Liver Cancer and Portal Vein Tumor Thrombosis Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Vice Chairman of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Committee of the World Association of Endoscopists, Executive Chairman of the Guangdong Province Cholelithiasis Endoscopic Minimally Invasive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Surgery Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, Deputy Director of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Minimally Invasive Committee, Breast Diseases Committee, andPancreatic Diseases Committee of Guangdong Health Management Society, standing committee member of Biliary Tract Tumor Special Committee and Pancreatic Cancer Committee of Guangdong Anti-Cancer Association, and Deputy Director of the Minimally Invasive General Surgery Committee of the Guangzhou Physician Association.
Dr. Peng has been engaged in General Surgey for 40 years, including clinical practice, teaching and researching. He has been performing laparoscopic surgery for 31 years, and he pioneered in China to conduct researches on the clinical application of ultrasound-guided laparoscopic hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. He has extensive clinical experience in surgical treatment for hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors, gastroenteric tumors, thyroid and breast diseases, as well as hernia, especially skilled at laparoscopic minimally invasive surgeries.
